National Moth Night – Moths and Bats of the Penpont Estate (Breconshire)

Discover the fascinating moths and bats of the beautiful Penpont Estate by joining us for the UK’s annual celebration of moths and moth recording.

Moth and bat experts will be on hand, running moth traps and ‘bat detecting’ to show people these amazing creatures of the night.

Public event, free of charge, all welcome (children to be accompanied by an adult). Sorry no dogs. No booking necessary, please use contact number if weather looking uncertain. Please bring warm clothes, torch, midge repellent and a hot drink.

Location: Penpont Estate, Brecon, Powys, LD3 8EU. Five miles west of Brecon, directly off the A40 between Brecon and Llandovery. Look out for the hanging sign.

Meeting place: Parking area at end of main drive, directly in front of Penpont House.
